Now you probably don’t know this about me, but I am an absolute sucker for stationery! I actually don’t know how I’ve gone this long without mentioning stationery on my blog, but I’ve finally cracked! I am a big believer in not letting ‘the art of letter-writing’ die, and frequently write letters or send cards to my friends and family. My Mum is the same as me and I know she really appreciates getting a nice note in amongst all her junk mail and bills! I recently bought a few bits from Paperchase with some birthday money I was given. I was so excited when I saw that they had extra items in the ‘Be Your Own Kind of Beautiful’ design!! I bought this postcard last year and loved it so much that I’m actually going to frame it at home. So when I saw that they also had notebooks and list books…well, I’ll admit I got a bit carried away!
Paperchase – Be Your Own Kind of Beautiful Stationery Range
I bought this beauty – the Beautiful Slogan Multi-List Book:
As an avid list-maker, this is perfect for me! It has a lined and a plain tear-off notepad for list-making, six different types of sticky notes (cuz who can make do with only one type?!) and a pen, which is held inside so you’ll never be searching around for one! It’s pretty compact, making it perfect for any of you on-the-go list makers. It cost me £8.
I absolutely love the slogan (pretty much what I stand for!) but the watercolour pastel shades are so beautiful as well. Proper #stationeryporn 😀 They also had the same design in a large ruled notebook and an A5 thick ruled notebook. I managed to restrain myself and not buy those, but I can’t promise I won’t go back…!
Paperchase – Thank You Cards
Whilst I was there, I also bought a couple of sets of thank you cards to send to my family for their birthday gifts. They had such a stunning range!
Technically, both of these are ‘wedding’ thank you cards, but there is nothing in or on them that specifies that. They are blank inside, so if you like them, they are fine to use for general thank-yous. Is anyone else as obsessed with pretty cards as me?! The floral ones were 10 for £5 and the heart ones 10 for £6 – I think this is a little expensive, but I was treating myself with my birthday money so I didn’t mind. Now to find something to thank myself for, so I can keep one…!
