My 30th Birthday – vintage afternoon tea and giant balloons!

I still can’t quite believe it, but it was my 30th birthday over the bank holiday weekend.  I don’t feel like a 30 year old!

Sadly my ME and fibro were really, really bad which made celebrating rather difficult.  I think I’ll do a separate post about that, and keep this one positive!  Here are some photos of the beautiful vintage-style afternoon tea my mum held at her house for me, including a gorgeous cake and some gigantic balloons my mother-in-law got for me.

This is me after zero sleep (fibro painsomnia), still somehow looking half-alive!  Look how big my balloons are!

Absolutely love the party, thank you for sharing. You look wonderful for having a flare dear! I am way past the thirties, in fact about to enter my fifties this fall. I will tell you I loved my thirties! You finally know who you are and where you are going-and still have the guts to get there LOL 😃🎂🎈🍰Happy Belated Birthday

Oh thank you, that’s so kind of you! I can only thank the makeup for that, haha! Well let’s hope I enjoy my thirties then… although I quite liked the twenties and didn’t quite want to leave them yet 😉 I hope 50 is a great time and age for you! x

I like the afternoon tea theme and the cake is so pretty, I love the pink and purple and the flowers are so detailed. Those balloons are very big, I wonder how long they’ll stay floating.
