Hi guys! I’m sorry this is SO late!! I mean it’s basically the last day of the month and I’m finally showing you the October 2016 Glossybox! As you may have noticed, I’m not posting as regularly lately.
As you probably know, I have chronic illnesses (if you don’t, this will fill you in!) I often simply don’t feel well enough to take photographs, edit or write a post. It’s frustrating as I have so many things I’m dying to share with you, but there’s nothing I can do. Sadly, my health has to come first.
As you’ve probably already seen the October Glossybox around, I’m not going to go into much detail. I’ll just show you what I got, and tell you if anything particularly impressed me!

October 2016 Glossybox Contents
How beautiful is this multi-use oil? So pretty! You can use it as a dry body oil, or even in your hair.
The ‘new beauty shampoo’ wasn’t named, and was meant to be a surprise when it was revealed. I knew what it was the second I saw it as it is in their standard packaging…! My husband uses Head & Shoulders, so to me it was pretty obvious that’s what this shampoo was. Smells nice but contains SLS so I’ll be passing it on to hubby!
The lip and cheek colour is lovely – too dry and not pigmented enough for the lips, for me personally. But it is lovely on the cheeks for a natural flush.
I have lots of Bee Good products and always really like them. The lip parfait was so disappointing! It looks so cool, with its super cute packaging. But sadly it’s quite dry and the colour is really not good. It’s VERY pale pink but kind of gives you the ‘concealer lips’ look – not for me!
This was the star of the box for me! I’ve used tons of Primark makeup and generally find it amazing for the price (see reviews and swatches of some of my faves here). I haven’t used anything from their Pro range before, but definitely will after this! It gives a beautiful sheen when patted onto the tops of the cheekbones. It gives that amazing look you only usually get from products that stay wet, or are oily, but this dries down. Would very highly recommend!
Overall I was pretty pleased with this box, aside from the Trifle Cosmetics product. But hey, it looks cute so I might use it as a prop for blog pictures! 😀
Hopefully I’ll be back a bit earlier with the next Glossybox… sorry again guys!
